Let Chris Alleaume teach you the foundations of yoga over 4 consecutive weeks:
Wednesday 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th November 7:30pm - 8:45pm at HYA Yoga Cronulla.
What does this course cover?
This course is designed to introduce you to the foundations of the physical practice and will highlight the associated health benefits of yoga. Participant numbers will be restricted to provide students a more individualised focus and instruction.
You will learn:
- The foundations of the breathing techniques during practice
- The challenging postures such as Chaturanga, Downward Facing Dog, Upward Facing Dog, Back Bends, Standing Poses and Warriors, and how to align the body safely in them
- How to make modifications for your body in the postures by using yoga props
- How to transition safely through postures and sequences
Who is the course designed for?
This course is perfect for beginners and intermediate yogis.
Beginners will complete the course with the knowledge and confidence to attend any of the classes on the schedule with ease.
Intermediate yogis will learn tips and tricks that will help them solidify and advance their practice.
Chris spent 20 years on the footy field before becoming a Master trainer in fitness. Today yoga practice keeps him free of old injury pains and allows quality and range of movement with a new level of body awareness and inner strength.
Chris has an incredible knowledge of anatomy, and can safely and confidently guide new students into appropriate variations of poses to suit their needs and abilities. You will feel completely supported.
